Parties at Los Gatos Farms

Los Gatos Farm offers a unique and fun setting for parties of all ages, especially birthday celebrations. Depending on their age, children can enjoy pony rides, interact with farm animals such as goats, chickens, ducks, and rabbits, and play on slides and climbing structures. The farm also has a picnic area with tables and chairs for refreshments. The farm is open to customizing events based on specific needs and age groups. Hosting a party at Los Gatos Farm

Below is all the information we send out to interested parties to break down cost and what is included. I would be happy to do a farm tour with you as I encourage all interested parties to come up and see what our party space looks like and ask any questions that might come up.

Here’s how our parties usually operate, however we are always open to requests! 

        •       Parties are from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.
        •       You may come at 12:45pm to set up.
        •       Clean up should be completed by 5pm.
        •       Parties for up to 12 kids and 24 adults are $515
        •       Parties for up to 18 kids and 36 adults are $615
        •       Parties for up to 24 kids and 48 adults are $685
        •       Additional guests are $10 per child and $5 per adult.
        •       The party is staffed for one hour from 2:30-3:30. Please note that the one hour can not be extended if your guests are late! So please encourage them to be on time. 

During the staffed hour, we do the led horse/pony rides and the petting zoo. Depending on the number of kids, we may split the kids into 2 groups. Half rides the horse/pony while the other half gets an introduction to the animals, then the groups switch. The kids can ride as many times as allowable within the hour. Each party varies depending on the interest and desires of the children. After this hour, the kids are free to do many of the non riding activities on their own. Activities include: multiple unique swings, slides (one that they use a sled to go down!) climbing ropes and structures. Playing on the tractor is also always a hit!

We provide:
        •       Staff
        •       Animals and all necessary equipment for riding/interacting
        •       Play structures
        •       Tables and chairs
        •       Garbage cans and bags
        •       Restroom and supplies

You provide:
        •       Food and beverages (pizza or sandwiches are popular options. People have also gotten food trucks. No open flames)
        •       Table covers (you will want to be sure to have these as our tables are used for summer camp art projects)
        •       Decorations/goody bags
        •       Liability waivers for each guest. Waivers are attached to this email.  Please do not forget this important step!

Please note:
        •       WE ASK THAT YOU AND YOUR GUESTS DO NOT FEED THE HORSES. This is very important as we have a few horses with allergies who are on special diets.
        •       NO balloons please! They scare the horses! 
        •       Our insurance does not allow alcohol.
        •       We ask that the kids stay out of the animal pens after the staffed hour is over. There is too much risk of the animals getting loose.
        •       Your final guest count is due 5 days before the party. Parties will be charged based on the final guest count given even if fewer children show up. This is because we hire staff based on the number that you give us in your final guest count.

We take a $200 deposit to hold the spot which I will refund to you if the party needs to be canceled for the following reasons: 1) any reason 21 days or more away from your party, 2) rain is predicted on the day of your party 3) Farm management makes a decision to cancel. The final balance is due on the morning of your party.

We have celebrated a plenty of younger kiddo’s birthdays this year with great success, we have a play area that is well suited to younger kids and a very fun bobsled slide that is an exciting experience for kids of all ages. We are a working farm that is hilly due to our location here in the mountains, our farm is different from other event spaces and young kiddos do need parental supervision/support.
